This article is about finding your live session times, joining them, and finding the archives. You will need Zoom for your device to join live sessions. Visit Using Zoom for help downloading or using Zoom.
Live Sessions will generally be held once a week at the same time for each class. You can find the live session times for your class above week 1, in the Important Resources section:
(Example. Make sure to check your course page for your live session times!)
You can join your Live Sessions by clicking their links in your weekly content, under the Discuss section. They will look like this, having the Zoom logo and the date and time of the session:
It's important to note that all times will be listed in Central Standard Time (CST). Make sure you know when your live sessions will occur in your local time!
If you cannot make it to a Live Session, don't worry! These sessions will always be recorded, and you can find the recordings posted under the Live Session links the next day. They sill be labelled Live Session Archive:
You will receive credit for attendance if you either join the Live Session while it is live, or watch the recording later.
The live sessions are a great way to actively participate in discussions, meet and interact with classmates and ask real-time questions to instructors. They really support your learning throughout the course of your program, so we highly recommend attending the sessions live if you can make it. See you in class!
