Step 1 - Uploading your photos to Google Drive
Open Google Drive on your phone and go into the folder you'd like to put your pictures into. If you're using an iPhone, you may need to download Google Drive. Android phones should come with Drive already installed.
Go into the folder where you'd like to upload your pictures. If you don't already have a folder for this assignment, you can create your own by pressing the Plus sign in the bottom right, and then selecting Folder.
Once you're inside of the folder you're using for this assignment, tap the Plus button at the bottom right, then Upload:
Note: On older versions of mobile Google Drive, the Plus button will be blue, with a white +.
This should show you the files on your phone that can be uploaded to your folder. After selecting all of the pictures you want to upload, press Open or Upload in the top right:
Then you’ll return to your folder, and your photos will show up inside. This may take a few minutes if you're uploading multiple pictures.
Step 2 - Narrative / Production Sheets on Mobile
This article explains how to copy these documents and place your copy in a folder on a phone or tablet!
When you tap the link on your assignment page for the narrative or production sheet, you'll be taken to an example copy.
Tap the three dots in the top right hand corner of the page:
On that menu, tap Share & export, then Make a copy to make your own copy of the sheet:
Tap on My Drive in this window, and you can choose a folder to put it in.
Find and select the folder you want, then tap OK to move your sheet inside the folder:
To fill out your sheets on your phone or tablet, tap the Blue Pencil in the bottom right corner:
Note that this may require the Google Docs or Google Sheets apps.
Step 3 - Sharing Links on Mobile
Once you’ve got your assignment photos and documents in a folder, the final step is to get a shareable link and submit that link for your assignment.
In Google Drive, go into the folder you want to submit for your assignment. You should see your pictures and your document inside.
While you’re inside the folder, tap the three dots in the top right corner:
On the menu that comes up, make sure Link sharing is turned on:
Once you’ve turned link sharing on, tap the three dots again, and then tap Copy Link:
This will copy a link to your folder. You will be submitting that link to complete your assignment!
Once you’ve copied your link, you can leave Google Drive by pressing the home button on your phone, and return to the Online Campus. You can do this either by opening your phone’s web browser and going to my.escoffier.edu or by opening your Escoffier mobile app.
Once you're back on the assignment page, tap on the Add Submission button. Then on the next page, you can paste your link into the text box. To do this, tap and hold inside the text box, and it should give you the option to paste:
After you've pasted your link, make sure to tap Save to submit your assignment!
